Adds Internet Security to Technology Services Offerings

NEW YORK, NY, January 1, 2013 – WinMill Software, a privately held technology services company headquartered in Manhattan, today announced that it has acquired CoreBlox, an enterprise security services company based out of Framingham, MA.

Both WinMill Software and CoreBlox are Global Channel Partners and Preferred Services Partners of CA Technologies (NASDAQ: CA).  The companies sell CA Technologies software and provide expert implementation and support services.  WinMill has been CA Technologies’ preferred partner since 2006 for Clarity PPM, CA’s market leading software for project and portfolio management, and in 2011 expanded its offerings to support CA’s internet security products.  CoreBlox is CA’s preferred partner for internet security, providing sales and services for CA products SiteMinder, IdentityMinder and ControlMinder.

“This is a perfect marriage,” said Joseph Strazza, CEO of WinMill Software.  “CoreBlox is the most well respected company in this space, and they fit nicely into our corporate culture.  Cloud security is red hot, and CoreBlox is right in the thick of it.  And with their existing relationship with CA, the economies of scale are extraordinary.”

“The combination of CoreBlox and WinMill Software provides us with tremendous opportunities, underscores our commitment to grow our services and product capabilities and delivers reach and scale we did not previously have,” said Todd Clayton, President of CoreBlox.  “We are confident that taking this next step with WinMill offers our customers significant advantages while maintaining the CoreBlox brand, commitment and trusted advisor status they have come to expect.”

Besides its partnership with CA, WinMill Software has other technology practices including application development, project management, quality assurance, network security and data center services.  The company anticipates that CoreBlox will be synergistic with its existing services.  “We build applications for our clients, we build their secure networks, and we host those applications in our data center,” explained Kevin Kilgore, President of WinMill Software.  “The next logical step is to provide single sign-on, identity management and access control across applications.  And that’s exactly what CoreBlox brings to the table.”

The new company will continue to operate as CoreBlox, leveraging the company’s brand and reputation.  WinMill Software will merge its existing internet security services into CoreBlox.
