Thanks for the info. I also found another way to do this without using psexec

From the command prompt you can type:

at smpolicysrv -publish (where is some time in the future as in 1 minute later).

For instance, if the time is 7:41 you can type at 7:42 smpolicysrv -publish

this will run the command at 7:42

Now, after this is done, not only will it run the command but it creates a scheduled task which you can then run at will or setup a schedule to run.

The psexec is also a good approach it just depends on where or not you want to script it or how often you would like to run it.

Can you please point me to resources. I beleive that for SharePoint 2010 we will have to use the SAML 2.0 Auth template. I am not able to get any help on this in CA site.

I am new to SiteMinder and it is a struggle to use this to authenticate SP 2010. I am using SM 12 SP3

Actually, Radiant Logic's VDS virtualizes the contents of all of an organization's data sources and integrates them into a federated directory, with a single complete profile for each user in the organization. Underlying identity silos maintain their independence, and whenever an entry in one of those silos is inserted, updated, or removed, the RadiantOne connector detects that change and updates the VDS in real time.

As a result, the VDS is never stale, but is instead an always up-to-date representation of all of an organization's identities. The virtual directory is stored as an LDAP, meaning an organization's identities can be queried at the speed of a directory.

Here's a quick 4 minute video on how it works: http://rdn.tl/fidvid
