Overview of Session
Travelport provides an infrastructure that connects buyers and sellers of travel services through agency, online and corporate travel channels. One of the biggest obstacles to providing this functionality is accessing and managing the identities for all of the third parties involved. The requirement was to build an infrastructure that would allow each party to manage and control their own identities while making it a seamless experience for the user.
This session will present an overview describing how CoreBlox helped Travelport build a Federated Identity Service that enables their business drivers including Federation, single sign-on, efficient user provisioning and management, and consolidated user profiles. In addition, the platform supports 3rd party access to Travelport APIs. As a result, Travelport is able to provide an identity service that supports both internal and external applications. Their applications connect buyers and sellers through agency, online and corporate travel channels.
